Friends of Inti Wara Yassi Australia Trust (FIWY Australia) became a registered charity with the “Register of Environmental Organisations” in April 2018 and has been a charitable organisation in Australia since 2016. Its ABN is 93433783701.
They help disseminate Comunidad Inti Wara Yassi’s work, raising funds on behalf of CIWY and organising events for past and future volunteers.
FIWY Australia is registered with the donating platform GiveNow, which facilitates fundraising on behalf of CIWY. If you’re interested in participating in fun activities like a run, shaving your head or something else, all you have to do is set up a Crowdraiser for FIWY Australia. Check out their GiveNow page for effortless, fee-free donations!
There are other ways in which you can raise much-needed funds for CIWY. If you have an Australian bank account and you’re interested in holding an event, such as a trivia night, a dress-up party or any other event to raise funds, the easiest way to donate the money you collect is through FIWY Australia’s PayPal account, found on our Donate page.
Other ideas could include holding a photo exhibition, a bake sale, a fundraiser at your workplace, anything you can think of: be creative and have fun!
FIWY Australia aims to raise awareness of CIWY’s work. If you’re in Australia and you’re interested in giving a presentation at your local school or university, holding an event or simply looking for ways to get involved, let us know.
