Tax-deductible for US donors: Omprakash
US donors can make tax-deductible donations to CIWY through our partner Omprakash.
Donations support the care expenses of the animals in our sanctuaries (including food and veterinary care, as well as construction and maintenance of the enclosures). For more detailed information, you can access our annual reports, where you will find a breakdown of expenses. If you would like to donate towards a specific project, let us know. To support a certain animal, see the Sponsor-an-Animal programme.

This baby jaguar was rescued from wildfire in 2024 and is set to become the first jaguar ever released into the wild in Bolivia!
Felines are usually very difficult to reintroduce into the wild, and in fact, a jaguar has never been released in Bolivia, largely due to complex bureaucratic processes and government permissions. We are excited to lead a ground-breaking collaborative development within Bolivia’s conservation community to make this happen. We believe Yaguara is a strong candidate for release, as we have avoided any direct human contact with her since her initial veterinary care. She has retained her survival instincts, successfully hunting live prey within her current enclosure.
To facilitate the donation process abroad, our sister charities FIWY UK and FIWY Australia raise funds to help our work. US and Australian donors can give through our partner organisations and claim the donation against their taxes.

Friends of Inti Wara Yassi UK (FIWY UK), a charity registered in England and Wales, manages donations so donors resident in the UK can take advantage of the government’s Gift Aid scheme: for every pound donated, CIWY can recover 25 pence from HM Revenue and Customs at no additional cost to you.
Your donations are eligible for the scheme if you are a UK taxpayer and you are currently paying Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax that is equal to or more than the tax deducted from your donations.
When donating online, tick the Gift Aid box and enter your house number and postcode in the boxes provided. Alternatively, you can download and return our Gift Aid form.
Email us at friends@intiwarayassi.org and we will update your Gift Aid status.
Our work is supported by national and international partners who collaborate with us to advance wildlife care, conservation, and environmental protection.
